Missionary Update            January 2004 Letter

Dear friend and supporter,

Another year has come and gone and we once again need to take time to thank you for what you have done and what you mean to the ministry of TWIN PEAKS BIBLE CAMP. As we review the year we can say that God has been faithful over and over again and we desire to serve Him faithfully in the coming years as long as God gives us breath, strength and health. We definitely had our ups and downs. For camp itself we saw a new building go up and it adds so much to the camp facility. We have prayed for many years to have a separate craft-canteen cabin and this was the year God provided through generous gifts and the work of many great people. We also wanted an office area away from our personal cabin and with the moving of the canteen or camp store into the new building we were able to make use of the old store area and now have an office with our computer, filing cabinets, phone system and copier all set up to help us in so many ways. Along with the building we also had work days at camp last spring and had many come and help us get ready for the 2003 season. That along with campers coming to know Christ was our up time. Our down time camp when our good friends, Ann and Howard Graubner who have cooked for camp faithfully for 20 some years let us know that Ann had breast cancer and they wouldn't be able to help this summer at camp. We were so sorry to hear this news and of course we prayed and are still praying for Ann as she goes through this time in her life. We pray for strength to go on and also for a full recovery from this disease. Well that left us to do the cooking for five weeks of camp and the Lord provided in many ways for us and many people rallied around us to help us. One dear friend gave up her five weeks of summer to take charge of the kitchen and along with other friends we were able to put out good meals on time and had fun doing it.

We do thank you for your faithful prayers and gifts as we couldn't do this ministry with out you.

"Now the God of peace that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." Hebrews 13:20-21

Thank you and may God bless you abundantly,

Cal, Jan, Aaron and Karin and Family
