Missionary Update January 9, 2004 Letter
Dear Grace Bible Church
We want to take this opportunity to let you know how much you mean to us. In Nov. you shared $150 with us. As we start packing our bags again, your faithfulness in partnering with us is a constant encouragement.
Saying goodbye to our kids and grandkids hasn't been easy. Knowing they love the Lord and seek to please Him makes it more bearable. They are traveling down the road we've already traveled, knowing the cost in advance and yet they face it, trusting in the unfailing love, mercy and grace of God. We admire them and appreciate their example.
Like metal to a magnet, so is Danny when it comes to computers. As I try and write this, I'm trying to keep up with scanning all our pictures and slides. Over and over I'm reminded of all God has done. Putting the pictures and slides on a CD will be a lasting treasure for the kids and their descendants. You have had a real part in the making of the Schroeder family. Seeing these slides, has renewed passion in my heart to take the time and effort needed to lead people to a clear understanding of the gospel of God's grace.
Another young man at Pepperdine University has been transformed through the power of the gospel. A brother here in Spokane is anxiously waiting to finish the training and start studies with non-Christians. It's been a joy to see Christians become excited about sharing Christ with non-believers. A lady from Iran is going through "All That The Prophets Have Spoken". Please pray for her, that she will come to a clear understanding and believe. Four studies in Brazil are close to the gospel presentation. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THESE STUDIES. THANKS!
His ambassadors,
Jim for the Schroeders
Sure enjoyed having Pastor Charlie with us in October.
