Missionary Update                February 2004 Newsletter

My Bible reading this week has centered around 1 Chronicles 16. In a few months I will be speaking at a Missions Conference, whose theme is found in verse 24, "Declare his glory among the heathen: his marvelous works among the nations."

The whole chapter resounds with reminders of His PROTECTION, His PROVISION and our responsibility to PROCLAIM His wondrous works among all peoples. The Lord has given RMBCM men who each week declare the Lord's protection and provision. They proclaim the only word that will lead their people to God and His marvelous ways. Thank you for faithfully praying and supporting them.

KIRK AND PAULA DUNHAM. GREEN RIVER, UTAH:

Kirk and Paula ask your prayer support in their efforts to bring the Gospel to this Mormon community. Pray also for Paula's new opportunity to meet people in their time of suffering. She is now working as an EMT. Remember what is was like for your children to leave home? Well, Rachel will soon do that, followed in a year by Joshua. Pray for wisdom in selecting the school to attend.

GRACE BIBLE CHURCH,  COLLBRAN, CO:

Since June 2003, GBC has been without a pastor. Loyal and Brenda May, (Elder, Grace Bible Church, Parachute, CO) have been serving the church faithfully. After much prayer they have applied to RMBCM to serve as pastor in Collbran.

The main question we all need to address is "What does God want to accomplish in this valley through this congregation?" Pray with us for God's will to be accomplished through the faithfulness of this church family.

RICK AND BRENDA THOMAS, TRINIDAD, CO:

Two projects, plus all other matters a pastor deals with, are in the process of completion. In a few weeks the remodeling of their meeting place will be done, leaving the Constitution/By-Laws as the last major project. Pray for the men who are in charge of these projects. Pray for wisdom for Rick and Brenda as they minister to this church family.

Next month we will cover the Ellis and Harves fields of service.

Thank you for your partnership in this ministry,

Jack Merriam

Director, RMBCM
