Dear friends,

April 16, 2004

Dear friends,

We hope that you had a wonderful Easter celebration of the Lord Jesus' Resurrection!

We had a tremendous Easter Sunday with our church family. We had a breakfast and service which brought about 80 people to our church. This is the most we've ever had! Praise the Lord! Our service was full of special music, a message that went along with the theme of the music, communion and a baptism of three young boys including our son, Konnor. It was truly a glorious Resurrection Day!

During the Easter breakfast, Tom quietly looked around at all the wonderful "fellowshipping" going on amongst our growing congregation. He was actually moved with emotion to think: that only seven short years ago (Easter of 1997) there were only a fraction of the people in that same room together. We knew growth would happen some day but the progress has been so s-I-o-w. In fact, when we first moved to Oak Creek, a wise pastor and friend told us not to expect much growth until we had dug in our heels for at least 7 or 8 years.

And how true his advice was! We are so thankful that we listened to him and didn't give up. We still have a long way to go but feel that things are beginning to happen. Please pray for continued growth!

We are getting close to finishing our AWANA Club year. It was a good year with many new kids and new leaders. Now we are gearing up for our Rodeo Bible Camp (June 24-27). Pray for RBC to reach the hearts and lives of the kids!

In May our family will be traveling to Ohio & Michigan to attend a wedding and spend time with family we haven't seen in many years. Pray for safety on the road and a refreshing time away!

We are enjoying renting and living in a larger home in Oak Creek and the advantages it brings to be living in town. However, we are presently applying for a home loan with the USDA-Rural Development hoping to qualify for a subsidized loan that will help us afford to build or buy our own home in the very near future. Pray for God's will to be done!

Thank you for your prayer & financial support. Thank you for being a major & crucial part of our ministry. We are truly grateful for you!

In Christ,
