Missionary Update Fall 2004 Newsletter
Dear friends,
If you had been in Oak Creek for the annual Labor Day Parade you would have beheld quite the sight...The Ten Commandments, baby Moses, Pharaoh, Pharaoh's daughter, Egyptians dealing w/ the plagues, etc., coming down Main Street!!! This is just a small example of how our little church tries to be a big witness to our lost community. And even though you were not here to see the float, we truly feel that you were with us "behind the scenes". You have participated through your interest in our ministry, faithful prayer, financial support, timely gifts, and constant encouragement. Thank you so much for being our partners in ministry!
PRAISES
For 30 kids at Rodeo Bible Camp.
For six kids 'from our area attending Twin Peaks Bible Camp.
For Ladies' Bible Study being well attended & meeting needs.
For Tom as he meets regularly with 2 - 3 men (leadership training).
For Tom's flexible part-time job.
For a family allowing us to use their vehicle while we have been without a 2nd vehicle.
For AW ANA getting off to a good start.
For several visitors this Fall.
PRAYER REQUESTS
For a few strong Christian couples to come alongside us and help us in our expanding ministry.
For our own members to grow & mature in the Lord and start taking on some responsibilities in the church.
For us as we hope to start a Youth Group in the next few weeks.
For a "Growing Kid's God's Way" class that we will be hosting over the next 20 weeks.
For the provision of a plow truck/2nd vehicle for us before the snow gets to deep. (We've already had snow this season.)
For wisdom in the possibility of us building our own home with a Government program called, "Hands On Housing" this Spring.
