Missionary Update March 2004 Update
Mexico 2004 Team Update
To our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
June is soon upon us and our team is very excited about what God is doing and will continue to do in each of our lives and with our team. As we make preparations for Mexico 2004, we watch with pleasure as our Savior answers prayers.
We now have our team of 21 members ready to go with 19 men and women from Grace Bible Church, one young man from CrossRoads and DeBeque Baptist Church, and one woman from Crown Peak Southern Baptist Church as our translator. Only God could bring together so many different personalities and people from different walks of life and build a team. We look forward to watch as God works in and through us and uses us as a team as we depend on Him.
Thank you for your incredible support during the Missions Emphasis Month at Grace Bible Church. We appreciate the time you allowed us to present this opportunity to the church as well as for your overwhelming support in prayer. This is a pivotal ministry that this team will rely on and by offering your prayers on our behalf, you have allowed God to use you as part of this team as well. We trust that your prayers will be answered and again, we thank you.
Thank you also for your financial support. Over $1000 was donated in love offerings at our Mexico 2004 luncheon. Our hope was to introduce our team members to the church, to gain your support in prayers, and to have an opportunity to serve the rest of the body at Grace. Thank you for being a part of that luncheon and for your demonstration of love. Again, thank you most of all for your intercession before the throne of grace on our behalf.
God has also answered our prayers regarding transportation for this mission. Our plan was to take three 7 passenger vehicles and to get to know one another very well in the close proximity of our vans, but as of yesterday, two 15-passenger vans were given to the church. This will allow more room for our supplies in addition to the trailer we will already be hauling so that we do not have to take an extra vehicle.
We would also like to let you know about our Mexico 2004 website. We will continue to post prayer updates now, during our missions trip, and afterwards so that our church, family, and friends can be praying for this combined effort to reach the lost and hurting and to support our brothers and sisters in Mexico. Please visit our site at www.Grace-Bible-Church.com/Missions/Mexico 2004.htm.
Thank you again for your support of love demonstrated in your actions and prayers. We look forward to serving along side each of you as we all go before the King of Kings and serve Him together.
Because Jesus lives and reigns,
The Mexico 2004 Team
