Mexico 2004 Team Update

To our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

The time has come and we are on our way to Mexico. By the time most of you read this, we will be in Tijuana worshipping with a local church in Las Playas. Thank you for your continuing prayers. We so appreciate your labor of love for us before the throne.

God has provided abundantly for our team and as of this last Sunday, every member of our team is at 100% financially for the costs of this trip. Thank you for your prayers and support in this regard.

As of today, Wednesday, our plans are to drive half way to TJ tomorrow, leaving at 6am and arriving in the late afternoon at the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. Temperatures should be well over 100 degrees, but after we get camp set up and eat a little dinner, we should be able to cool off in Lake Mead for a few hours. The water should be bath tub warm, but the evaporation effect will be ideal for the rest of the evening; who knows, we might even have a bon-fire out under the cliffs that night!

On Friday, we will depart early, drive to the California/Mexico border and cross sometime in the afternoon. We will be staying with Pastor Montoya and his family in Las Playas where God has blessed the mission with a house large enough to put up groups such as ours. We will begin our ministry with La Roca (The Rock) Ministries in the morning. Please continue to pray.

Please take advantage of our Mexico 2004 website.  Our plan and hope is to continue to post prayer updates during our missions trip and afterwards so that our church, family, and friends can be praying for this combined effort to reach the lost and hurting and to support our brothers and sisters in Mexico.  Please visit our site at www.Grace-Bible-Church.com/Missions/Mexico 2004.htm.

Thank you again for your prayers for us. May God bless you and your ministry wherever you are serving Him.

Because Jesus lives and reigns,

The Mexico 2004 Team
